Rev. Dr. Luis Alvarez possesses a wealth of experience as a religious leader, having held various roles within the church for over three decades. He is passionate about discipleship, fostering healthy leadership models and communicating the Gospel’s relevance in society. Dr. Alvarez is the former Lead Pastor of Park Slope Christian Tabernacle in Brooklyn, New York. He has been an Instructor and Adjunct Professor at various theological schools. He holds a Doctorate of Ministry (D.Min) and a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from New York Theological Seminary. Rev. Alvarez is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God and an executive member of the Latino Leadership Circle, where he hosts “Cafecito Conversations,” a podcast on the church, ministry, and culture.
Luis serves The Passion Center as a Teaching Pastor.
